Although born in Olympia, WA, Andrew H. Black has spent most of his life on the East coast. He graduated in 1980 from James Madison University located in Harrisonburg, VA and currently works as a graphic designer in Washington, DC. Andy makes his home in Reston, VA with his wife Candice, his son Nicholas, and their calico cat Fern who is busy a majority of her time being beautiful.
This blog is now the home of the Two for Tuesday Challenge. Each week I provide two writing prompts that will hopefully spark the imagination with little time commitment and a way to get some feedback from others as well as providing you with a chance to practice your craft. Practice makes perfect…

Hi Andy. Super blog…congrats on doing it! And, congrats on your son’s graduation. Are you still into music as much as writing? Best, Mike

Liked your about. I also have two cats, that when not eating, practice sleeping and, like your cat, being beautiful.
Being beautiful is hard work, or at least so I am told. I wouldn’t know.
I like your blog. Thanks for the inspiration.
I nominated your blog for the Liebster Award.
